Welcome to Bright as a Button

The Bright as a Button way of teaching is inspirational, effective and fun!   We teach children in a way which caters to their age and to their learning style.

In a Bright as a Button lesson, the children spend more time moving and doing than sitting and writing.  Primary school aged children may:

  • Dance out their Words by creating a movement for each letter (kinaesthetic)
  • Use colour to highlight a pattern in a list of words (visual)
  • Create a clapping rhythm to accompany the sounds in a word (musical)
  • Act out a scene with others, using four given words (Inter-personal)
